Job Title: Phone Repair Technician

Department: Value Add Department
Location: Morecambe
Duration: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 08:45 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Pay: £23,051.60 per year
Work Location: In person, on site

Mazuma are expanding their Value Add Department, creating a number of opportunities for Phone Repair Technicians.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in electronic repairs, a positive work ethic, excellent punctuality, and the ability to consistently perform their duties.

As part of our expanding team, you will deliver a range of repairs and achieve monthly targets. Full training will be given to ensure successful candidates have a comprehensive knowledge of the Value Add Process.

What you’ll be doing

  • Processing mobile phones, dismantling and rebuilding products, and categorising items for repair
  • Performing pre/post-repair diagnostics
  • Carry out mobile phone repairs including screen, battery, and camera replacements
  • Working to set targets
  • Accurately recording work completed within internal systems
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
  • Soldering and spot welding – full training will be given

What we need from you

  • Previous experience is an advantage but not essential
  • A courteous, approachable, and self-assured demeanour
  • Excellent time-keeping skills
  • A strong interest in technology
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets
  • High attention to detail
  • Basic IT skills and computer literacy
